Green Wing

Green Wing, a surreal comedy drama largely set, despite a bizarre lack of medical content, in a hospital. BAFTA award winning comedy series  devised and produced by Victoria Pile (Smack The Pony).

Tamsin Greig (Black Books, The Archers) the idiosyncratic Dr. Caroline Todd; Julian Rhind-Tutt (The Madness of King George, Notting Hill), the fop-haired, wise-cracking heartthrob Dr MaCartney; Steve Mangan (I'm Alan Partridge, Adrian Mole – The Cappuccino Years) the lustful love god Guy Secretan; Mark Heap (Brass Eye, Spaced, Big Train, Happiness) the stammering, neurotic Statham; Rose D'Or award winner Pippa Haywood (The Brittas Empire, Dalziel and Pascoe) the tyrannical, age-obsessed Joanna Clore; and Michelle Gomez (The Book Group, Trainspotting) the terrifyingly unpredictable staff liaison officer Sue White. Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones's Diary, Smack the Pony) also stars as Mac's ex girlfriend.

The series boasts a collection of award-winning writers including: Victoria Pile; Robert Harley (Smack the Pony, Los Dos Bros); Oriane Messina and Fay Rusling (2DTV, Smack the Pony); Gary Howe and Richard Preddy (Birds of a Feather, Shooting Stars); James Henry (Smack the Pony, Aardman Sketch Show) and Stuart Kenworthy (Smack the Pony, Harry Hill's TV Burp).
