LifeSpam
Alice Lowe’s LIFESPAM gives ‘shock docs’ the sketch show treatment.
LifeSpam is a spoof documentary pilot for BBC3, written by and starring Alice Lowe (best known for Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace, as well as The Mighty Boosh and Annually Retentive). Fresh from touring with Steve Coogan, and recently seen in E4 comedy Beehive, Lowe’s solo show hits BBC3 this January.
This half-hour comedy sketch show features a variety of new comic creations, finding humour in the tragic 'true-life' stories of ‘The Man who had a Thousand Wives’, ‘The Woman who Lived in Hair’, and a harrowing account of one mother’s struggle with her son’s rare and debilitating condition: ‘My Child is French’.
This brand new comedy is written by and stars Alice Lowe. With Steve Brody, Margaret Cabourn-Smith, Justin Edwards, Simon Farnaby, Richard Glover, Tom Meeten, Steve Oram & Clare Thomson.
LifeSpam is produced by Daisy Robertson, Executive Produced by Rob Brydon, Duncan Hayes and Miles Ross, and Directed by Jacqueline Wright.
Lifespam is an Arbie Production for BBC 3.
