QI
The world's most seemingly impossible quiz QI hosted Stephen Fry and regular panellist Alan Davies.
Panellists are put to the test with the most difficult questions that they'll almost never guess right! Points for the most interesting, or ‘quite intelligent’ answers, regardless of whether they are correct or even relevant will be rewarded instead.
The most recent series centred around the letter 'E', and included topics such as Exploration, Entertainment, Elephants and Espionage. Guests this series included, Jo Brand Sean Lock, Rich Hall, Phill Jupitus, Doon Makichan, Dara O'Briain, Jeremy Clarkson, Vic Reeves, Clive Anderson Johnny Vegas , David Mitchell, Rob Brydon, Jimmy Carr and Bill Bailey.
QI won an RTS award for Entertainment Programme in March 2008
Stephen Fry won a Rose D'or for Best Game Show Host in April 2006.
The show is devised and produced by esteemed comedy producer John Lloyd (Blackadder, Not The Nine O'Clock News, Spitting Image).
The Observer, Oct 2005, "Quite Interesting is an understatement when it comes to this superlative weekly meeting of comic intelligences under the schoolmasterly gaze of quizmaster Stephen Fry."
The Independent, Nov 2005, "When the schedules seem so dumbed-down, it's a delight to encounter the brainy and articulate Stephen Fry. He excels in this format, being both scathing and generous."
