
Suzy Lamb was appointed Head of Thames Productions in September 2010. She is responsible for spearheading future Thames’s UK productions including all formats.
Most recently Suzy executive produced Thames hits including Take Me Out for ITV1, BBC One’s latest Andrew Lloyd Webber production Over The Rainbow, Hole In The Wall, The Kind Is Dead and ITV’s All Star Family Fortunes. Suzy joined Thames (formerly talkbackTHAMES) in September 2008 as Senior Executive Producer.
Suzy began her career as a production secretary working on shows including Top Of the Pops, Big Break, Noel’s House Party, Bruce Forsyth’s Generation Game, Wogan, The Royal Variety Performance, Comic Relief, Russ Abbot, Les Dennis Laughter Show, The Paul Daniels Magic Show, Bob’s Full House and Bob Says Opportunity Knocks.
Following this, Suzy became a Researcher on programmes including Big Break, The National Lottery, Jim Davidson’s Generation Game, Bruce Forsyth’s Generation Game and Noel’s House Party. Suzy went on to be an Assistant Producer on the Royal Variety Performance, Dales All Star’s, Two Ronnies Theme Night and The BAFTA Awards (TV & Film). Suzy rose through the ranks to become Series Producer and Series Editor on some of the UK’s most popular and highest ratings entertainment shows such as I’d Do Anything, The X Factor Battle: Of the Stars, Strictly Dance Fever, TV Moments With Jonathan Ross and The National Lottery Jet Set.
Suzy also executive produced BBC One I’d Do Anything, Any Dream Will Do and the award winning series How to Solve a Problem Like Maria. After a stint in America as Executive Producer on US successes including Clash of the Choirs (BBC Worldwide Americas production for NBC), Phenomenon, (a Granada America production for NBC), and Grease: You’re the One that I Want, A BBC Worldwide Production for NBC, Suzy returned to the UK to take up the position of Senior Executive Producer Entertainment at Thames (formerly talkbackTHAMES).
