Johnathan Young
Head of Drama
Johnathan took up the post of Head of Drama for ThamesTelevision, (later talkbackTHAMES), in May 2005.
He is Executive Producer of The Bill and Little Devil and Head of Drama for talkbackTHAMES, responsible for the talkbackTHAMES Drama development slate.
Johnathan produced on Eastenders, Casualty and was Executive Producer on the first series of Holby City before joining Channel 4 in 1999. At 4 Johnathan looked after Brookside and Hollyoaks and commissioned North Square and Teachers.
Johnathan joined BoxTV in 2001. His E.P. credits include SUNDAY for Channel 4 and TRUST for BBC1.
Johnathan produced the second series of Murder Investigation Team for talkbackTHAMES. He developed and was Series Producer on The Golden Hour, a 4 x 90 minute drama series ITV1. He is Executive Producer on As The Bells Rings, a 26 x 5 minute series for Disney, a second series of 26 episodes starts transmission very soon. He also had Little Devil a 3 X 60 drama for ITV1 transmitted in August 2007 and has completed Up Close and Personal, a pilot for ITV2.
