Margot Gavan Duffy joined Pearson Television in 2000 to run the comedy division Little Pond. Subsequently she has developed shows and produced and executive produced for Thames and talkbackThames. She is currently Executive Producing a new drama series for ITV1, ‘Monday Monday’. Margot’s other producing credits for the company include: ‘The Complete Guide To Parenting’, ‘Open Wide’, ‘Tunnel of Love’, two series of ‘Hardware’, ‘Beauty’ (part of the Trapped anthology) - all for ITV1 - and the series ‘Beast’ for BBC1. ‘Hardware’ was nominated for the best Producer Award for TV Series at the 44th Monte Carlo Television Festival, for Best Comedy at BAFTA and for Best Comedy at Banff.

Previously, Margot produced a series of ‘The Vicar of Dibley’ and ‘Up Rising’ for Tiger Aspect and two series of ‘How Do You Want Me?’ for Kensington Films.

Margot’s career has included stints working as a script editor and in drama and comedy development. Television script editing credits include: ‘Beyond Reason’, ‘Frank Stubbs Promotes” and ‘El C.I.D.’ As Director of European Development at Fox her credits included ‘Alien 3’, ‘Robin Hood’ and ‘Shining Through’. And as script editor and assistant to head of production at HandMade Films her credits included ‘Mona Lisa’, ‘Withnail And I’, ‘Track 29’, ‘How To Get Ahead in Advertising’ and ‘The Lonely Passion Of Judith Hearne’
