Michele Kurland
Head of Factual Entertainment
Michele joined talkbackTHAMES in July 2006 to executive produce the third series of the BBC 2 hit show, The Apprentice and was responsible for its very successful move to BBC 1. She was appointed Head of Factual Entertainment in June ’07.
Prior to this, Michele worked at the BBC for 13 years, for the main part in the Specialist Factual department, where she executive produced Can Gerry Robinson Save the NHS?, I’ll Show them Who’s Boss and Living The Dream, and series produced Trouble at the Top.
Michele started out as a history researcher for a university in America, but soon moved into news & current affairs before finding her niche in documentaries.
When away from Newman Street, she enjoys everything from cycling, cooking, spending time with family and friends and of course watching what programmes the opposition are coming up with!
