Voting has opened on the TV Quick and TV Choice Awards longlist and talkbackTHAMES programmes feature heavily!

Comedy and Comedy Entertainment have done well, with The IT Crowd longlisted in the Best Comedy category. We also have three longlisted programmes in the Best Entertainment Show category - Celebrity Juice, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and QI.

The Drama department has also done well, with Minder up for Best New Drama and Best Actor for Lex Shrapnel and The Bill pulling in a raft of nominations, including Best Family Drama, Best Actor for Alex Walkinshaw and Best Actress for Amita Dhiri.

It's been another strong year for our Entertainment output, which is reflected in the longlist. The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent are both longlisted in the Best Talent Show category, while the Best Gameshow category, new this year, boasts Hole in the Wall and All Star Family Fortunes among its nominations.

Our Factual Features and Factual Entertainment programmes are also well-represented. The Apprentice is up for Best Reality Show while The Best Lifestyle Show category features Grand Designs and I Own Britain's Best Home.

Voting is open until the 12th June and the shortlist of nominations will be announced in July. Winners will be announced at an award ceremony on 7th September.
